Automations send the right email after a customer action or at a scheduled point in their journey.
Choose a starting point
In CWILL Pop up Email, go to Automations and choose a template. Common starting points include:
• Welcome Series for new subscribers
• Abandoned Cart for shoppers who leave without purchasing
• Post-Purchase for customers who complete an order
• Win-Back for customers who have not purchased recently
• Back in Stock for subscribers waiting for a product
Set up the workflow
1. Review the trigger that enrolls a contact.
2. Check the audience and any filters.
3. Customize each email’s sender details, subject line, preview text, and content.
4. Review the wait time between steps.
5. Save the workflow and activate it.
Test the automation
Use a test customer who has agreed to receive email marketing. Complete the trigger action, then confirm that the contact enters the automation and that each email is scheduled as expected.
Before activating
• Check every link and discount code.
• Confirm the audience is correct.
• Make sure the automation is active, not paused.
• Review wait times and exit conditions.
• Avoid activating overlapping journeys that send the same message.
If an email does not send, see Troubleshoot Campaign or Automation Emails That Aren’t Sending.
