Use a campaign when you want to send a one-time email to an eligible group of Shopify customers.
Before you start
• Complete Set Up Email Branding so your logo, brand colors, business details, and footer are ready.
• A Custom Sending Domain is optional. Configure it later only if you want to send from your own domain.
• Make sure your store has customers who have agreed to receive email marketing.
• Prepare your subject line, sender details, message, and call to action.
• Create a Shopify customer segment if you want to target a specific audience.
Create the campaign
1. In CWILL Pop up Email, go to Campaigns.
2. Select Create Campaign.
3. Enter an internal campaign name, subject line, preview text, and sender information.
4. Choose a template or start with a blank email.
5. Customize the content and check every link.
Choose recipients
Select eligible email subscribers or choose a Shopify customer segment. CWILL Pop up Email can only send marketing emails to contacts whose email marketing status allows it.
Test before sending
Send a test email to yourself. Check the desktop and mobile layout, sender name, subject line, links, discount code, and unsubscribe option.
Review and send
Review the recipient count and campaign settings. Send immediately or schedule the campaign for later.
If the recipient count looks wrong, check the customer’s email marketing status and the rules in the selected Shopify segment. See Choose Campaign Recipients with Shopify Segments for more details.
