CWILL Pop up Email helps you collect subscribers and turn them into sales with popups, campaigns, and automated email journeys.
Complete these steps in order for the smoothest first-time setup.
1. Enable the app embed
In Shopify admin, open Online Store > Themes > Customize. Open App embeds, enable the CWILL Pop up Email app embed, and save the theme.
If you publish a new theme later, enable the app embed again for that theme.
2. Set up email branding
Before sending a campaign or activating an email automation, complete Setup email branding from the Quick setup guide.
Add your store logo, brand colors, business details, and default footer information. Preview the branded email and save your changes.
A Custom Sending Domain is optional. Configure it later only if you want to send from your own domain.
3. Create and publish your first popup
Go to Popups and select Create Popup. Choose a template, customize the design and targeting rules, then publish it.
Test the popup in a private or incognito window and submit a test email address.
4. Send your first campaign
Confirm the recipient has agreed to receive email marketing. Create a campaign, choose eligible subscribers or a Shopify segment, send yourself a test, and then send now or schedule it.
5. Activate your first automation
Choose a workflow such as Welcome New Subscribers, Abandoned Cart Recovery, Thank You for Your Order, or Back in Stock. Review the trigger, audience, email content, and wait times before activating it.
Before you finish
• The app embed is enabled.
• Email branding is complete.
• The popup is published and tested.
• Test recipients are subscribed to email marketing.
• The campaign test email looks correct.
• At least one automation is active and has been tested.
