Use these checks when a popup is published but does not appear on your storefront.
1. Check the Shopify app embed
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize > App embeds. Confirm that CWILL Pop up Email is enabled, then save the theme.
If you changed or published a new theme, enable the app embed again for that theme.
2. Confirm the popup is active
In CWILL Pop up Email > Popups, check that the popup is published and its status is active.
3. Review display rules
Check the popup’s:
• Schedule and time zone
• Page or URL rules
• Device targeting
• Country or location targeting
• Visitor and customer conditions
• Trigger timing, scroll, or exit-intent settings
• Frequency rules
The popup will not appear when the current visit does not meet all required rules.
4. Check popup priority
If several popups are active, CWILL Pop up Email uses targeting rules, popup type, position, and visitor behavior to decide which eligible popup appears. See Manage Multiple Active Popups for details.
5. Test with a fresh visit
Open the exact page in a private or incognito window. Disable browser extensions that block scripts, accept any required storefront cookie settings, and wait for the configured trigger.
Also test on the device type included in your targeting rules.
6. Confirm the theme is live
Make sure you are testing the currently published Shopify theme and the correct store domain.
